I was waiting for this train. It was coming out of the tunnel as the car careened out of control and hit the tree. An old woman (read: idiot) promptly got out of the train and started yelling at police to move the standby operators truck out of the way of the train. They called her stupid and told her there was still someone in the car.
Tuesday, June 10th 2008. A car careens down Duboce street at about 20 – 30mph and loses control. A man crossing Fillmore street at the intersection with Duboce street is nearly hit and has to dive out of the way of being hit. The car swerves, hits the sidwalk curb, then hits a tree. The car then topples onto its side, then onto its roof. A woman is inside, and after inspection appears to be having a seizure.
